FESTIVAL DEI CAMMINI 2025 – 5TH EDITION
On Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st, 2025, Brisighella, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, a Slow City, a City of Olive Oil, and a TCI Orange Flag recipient, a crossroads of trails and paths, is preparing to host the fifth edition of the Festival dei Cammini. For two days, the medieval village will transform into a meeting point for trekking enthusiasts, hikers, and the simply curious.
The Brisighella Pro Loco, organizer and promoter of the event, thanks to the support of the Gal Altra Romagna and the Region, had the opportunity in the previous edition to create and print a notebook of the Walks, in four languages, which will also be distributed during this year's Festival. This small guide will accompany tourists and hikers in discovering the Walks that crisscross the Romagna region, through ancient villages and breathtaking landscapes.
The event, organized by the Pro Loco, thanks also to the support of the Municipality of Brisighella in collaboration with numerous local organizations, will take place in the enchanting setting of the former Convent of the Osservanza, a 17th-century convent complex, with its evocative cloisters, refectory, friars' garden, and the magnificent church steeped in history. The convent is easily accessible, as it is located near the train station and close to the historic center.
Founded in 2019, the Festival dei Cammini has established itself as a reference point for lovers of trekking and slow and responsible tourism, thanks also to the recognition and support of the Gal Altra Romagna and the Emilia-Romagna Region, the managers of several of Romagna's most evocative walks and trails, and the Vena del Gesso Park, recently recognized as a World Heritage Site.
This year's program will feature artists, musicians, and writers who will present their works through exhibitions, theatrical performances, and concerts. Furthermore, workshops and meetings will be held with professionals and organizations operating in the responsible tourism sector, in addition to the organization of guided visits to the village and excursions with expert environmental guides.
